Container Home Plant Manager
The Container Home Plant Manager will oversee all operations of the container home manufacturing plant. This role requires managing the end-to-end process of container home production, including design, manufacturing, quality control, and delivery. The Plant Manager ensures that production goals are met efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily plant operations and coordinate the production schedule to meet delivery timelines.
- Manage the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead, train, and develop the plant team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety excellence.
- Collaborate with the design team to implement production plans and modifications to container homes as needed.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, procurement of materials, and supply chain logistics to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Implement and maintain quality control checks to ensure product excellence and compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of plant machinery and equipment to ensure operational reliability.
- Enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Prepare and manage the plant budget, optimizing expenses and improving profitability.
- Liaise with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to align production capabilities with market demand and customer requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in plant management, preferably in container home manufacturing or similar industries.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations.
The role requires working in a factory setting, involving regular interaction with production staff and physical inspection of the manufacturing process. The Plant Manager must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
